On 23^rd February 2011, Chairman of Hai Phong People’s Committee – Duong Anh Dien inspected the compensation for land acquisition and the execution progress of the Hanoi – Hai Phong Expressway Project.

Joining the Delegation were Vice-chairman of Hai Phong People’s Committee – Do Trung Thoai; Leaders of Departments, sectors; Leaders of districts where the Expressway passes through. Accompanying the Delegation were Mr. Dao Van Chien – General Director of VIDIFI and Leaders, staff of VIDIFI.

After inspecting the site, the Delegation had a meeting with and listened to the report presented by the Department of Planning and Investment, the Employer, comments by Departments, sectors, localities, and comments by Vice-chairman of Hai Phong People’s Committee Do Trung Thoai on the compensation for land acquisition and execution progress of the Hanoi – Hai Phong Expressway Project.

Concluding the meeting, Chairman of Hai Phong People’s Committee acknowledged and praised Party Committees at difference levels, authorities, organizations, districts, communes, wards where the project is executed, sectors of the city and VIDIFI - the Employer for their efforts in dealing with difficulties, obstacles and actively compensating for land acquisition, resettlement and execution of the Project. This is a national key Work having significant and positive impacts on the socio-economic development of the city. The Chairman of Hai Phong People’s Committee requested the relevant Departments, sectors, localities and entities to use their best efforts to complete the land acquisition before 31^st March 2011 and hand over to VIDIFI for the Project execution.
