On 5^th January 2011, Vietnam Infrastructure Development and Finance Investment Joint Stock Company (VIDIFI) and the Joint Venture of China Guangdong Provincial Changda Highway Engineering Co., Ltd and China Guangzhou International Economic

and Technical Cooperation Co. held the contract signing ceremony of Package EX-5, the Hanoi – Hai Phong Expressway Project.

Attending the ceremony were Mr. He Sheng – Commercial Counseling Division under the China Embassy in Vietnam, Mr. Liu Gang Liang – Chairman of China Guangdong Provincial Changda Highway Engineering Co., Ltd, Mr. Liu Jian Ping – Chairman of China Guangzhou International Economic and Technical Cooperation Co., Mr. Pham Duc Hoa – Deputy General Director of VDB, Chairman of VIDIFI, Ms. Nguyen Thuy Lan – Head of Foreign Capital Management Department – VDB, Deputy General Directors and leaders of Departments, Divisions of VIDIFI, representatives of VIDIFI’s founding shareholders, Board of Supervisors, Supervision Consultant.

Package EX-5 has station from Km48+000 to Km63+300 passing two districts i.e. Gia Loc and Tu Ky, Hai Duong province, 6 bridges (5 of which are flyovers on local roads crossing the Expressway and the remaining is a flyover on the Expressway crossing a river), 19 underpasses, 1 interchange with road 38B and a service station for the whole project.
